Random slightly obvious thought my demented mind gave me this morning:
I tend to achieve much better results in literally
ANYTHING when I follow the "heavy users".
In other words, people who make the thing you want to
do the goal of their life.
If I want to be healthier, I should probably look to Bryan
Johnson, the lowkey crazy billionaire dude wasting
(imo) his entire life trying to engineer his life to be as
long as possible.
Like if you’ve ever followed what the dude is doing it is
freaking wild.
But he probably has pretty dang good advice for
longevity.
Same thing with business… or anything else.
Of course, doing this, you have to trim the fat from
these people’s advice because "heavy users" in any
field are all neurotic to some degree and assume you
also want to make the thing the goal of your life.
But even in the narrower field of marketing for instance:
If you need a really specific solution to a problem, you
can find a person who ideally EXCLUSIVELY does that
thing, and copy how they do it.
Or better yet, just get them to do it DFY: 😉
