Masterclass to the principle of curation below:
Anyone who has ever owned a free Skool group has to
be a master TSA agent.
If only you knew the slop I have to trudge through in my
membership requests section every single day.
I wouldn’t even trust most of these guys to pass
Kindergarten… much less to run a business.
Am genuinely lost as to how a lot of these guys have
the IQ to navigate to Skool.com.
And that is AFTER my big fat nasty sales letter
between my content and the Skool itself.
It once even got so bad and so low quality that I had to
ban about 75% of the group and my list. (Sort of the
nuclear option, but that can work.)
I will spare you the brain cell loss of showing you some
of these submissions…
…but what I will do is give away my SOP for judging
books by their covers on Skool.com.
In the order of most to least importance:
My first membership question (Convince me why I should let you in.)
If they’ve requested to get in more than once
What business model they operate
If they pay for any of the groups they’re in
What country they’re from (sounds racist to
basement dwellers but it’s not so idrc)
How good their English is
Their bio (actually a really good way to spot
laziness)
The vibe of their name
How active they are on Skool
How many other groups they’re in
If it takes me more than 10 seconds to decide I usually
send them a DM asking them a trite question.
If they respond they usually get in… but 90% of the
time they don’t.
Only the creme of the crop is allowed in my holy
kingdom.
And I hope you hold the same standards for your
business… since the world ain’t getting higher quality
ANY time soon.
You have to take a stand and do something about it
instead of letting 0-star-rated people trample up and
down your beautiful face.
Fat example:
This means creating content that actually attracts your
ICP.
Do you hear the voice of my newest funnelhack
whispering in your ear yet?
Because it is a-coming.
It’s about pro looksmaxxer Oscar Patel.
I certainly wouldn’t say that Oscar is the type of dude to
make super niche content that gets 19 super high-
quality views…
But instead he’s figured out a pretty cool way to
balance mass awareness-based content with content
that attracts semi-high-quality leads really well.
Or at least as well as possible, if you want to go for the
“hybrid” approach.
Neat, I must admit.
